Team DA Rules

              Version: 3.0  Last Updated 2-12-07

ALL members in EVERY Echelon must follow these rules!

-Golden Rule
Respect members in your clan and in the gaming community.

-Cheats
Cheats will
not be tolerated nor exploiting known bugs or glitches to your own personal advantage while playing games with the [da] tag prefix.

-Orders
Obey orders that have been initiated by Superiors. We have a rank structure for a reason! Some members have higher rank than other members…respect their requests. In game orders will be followed and are
crucial to winning.

-Training
All Members must attend training. If you cannot make training then let Command or Council know. If a Member misses training 3 times in a row without giving notice of reason... they will either be removed from the clan or face disciplinary action.

Unofficial training is what every member is expected to do on public servers. Train like you will fight…and fight like you will train. Always be training at something. Non-Mandatory training may be scheduled but you are still required to inform leaders if you cannot attend.

-Team speak
While on team speak,
be mature and think before you say things. DO NOT LOSE SELF CONTROL! Try not to be annoying! Team speak is a tool for communication when playing, especially in certain channels, so don’t yapp too much about “what happened” or something unimportant! Adhere to a 5 second rule… that means you don’t key the microphone longer than 5 seconds. Do not bug leaders about admin questions while they are playing an actual game…your going to piss them off! If you have a problem…go through the proper channels to resolve it. Do not lose your temper and confront leadership on TS in a populated channel. In a nutshell, don’t abuse team speak communications privileges.

-Tags
You are expected to
wear your tags at all times while playing Battlefield 2. You may not be in 2 clans simultaneously. (Some exceptions may apply for different games on the spectrum.) As of now, your tag should appear as .da. and -DA- (for veteran members), or [da] (for next generation members)at the beginning of your name. Don’t be an idiot in game while you wear the tag (meaning don’t harass other players, Team Kill, or talk trash)! When you put your tag on…you submit and agree to the rules and policies of Team Deadly Assassins. If your NOT wearing the tag… you better be alone with no other [da] members in your server.

-Age
All of our members must be 17 years of age or older, and must be mature.... willing to endure a 1 week trial entry phase. We have strict age requirements because of our language at times, information in forums not suitable for younger audiences, and the requirement for mature personalities.
Underage players can only be recruited with Command Intervention. Members who lie or are unclear about their age during the recruitment process will be immediately removed from the clan. NO EXCEPTIONS! Don’t Lie!

-Recruiting/Challenging
Don't recruit members without contacting proper authorities and sending the recruits through the proper pipeline. Also, do not challenge or schedule with other clans… matches, scrimmages, or tournaments if you are not a liaison for such activity with the proper rank. Do not challenge Command, Council, or Ranking Members unless using the proper channels (chain of command). Team da has special positions for certain members who can schedule activities with proper representation and training. Thus far, Council and above are permitted to recruit but should follow these guidelines:

1. Contact (whether it is through our forums or in game)

2. Interview (This should be done WITH another clan leader and on TS and the recruit WILL BE EXPOSED TO ALL OF THE VERBALLY!)

3. Initiation (They are directed to read Total Documentation and given the da tag.  They also receive registration in our forums to access the members section and given registration on TS)

4. Official Membership (After their trial phase, with no leadership objections, they are officially indoctrinated into the clan)

-Inactive Members
If you are in the Regulars, Council, or Command Echelons and inactive indefinitely, you may be automatically sent to the Reserve Rank Structure by leadership. If you are moved to the Reserve Rank Structure, depending on your Echelon at the time of incidence, you can be permanently removed from Team da after prolonged inactivity as a reserve member bearing that you have not contacted leadership to inform others of your intentions .
Command discretion will decide whether players can go into reserves or be removed out of the reserves or the clan. Timeframes are as follows for being inactive for 1 month:

Regulars -                    Reserves for 2 months

Council Members -        Reserves for 4 months

Command Members -    Reserves for 6 months

When ANY clan member exceeds their reserve time allotted…Command will adjourn with other leadership, whether formal or informal, to choose to remove the member permanently. If you are removed and wish to rejoin and are accepted… your clan rank will start over from the beginning as well as your administrative privileges, if any.

-Disciplinary Probation
Command reserves the right to expel any member at any given time for extreme acts of insubordination or unwillingness to resolve issues. WE DO NOT TOLERATE DISRESPECT FOR LEADERS AND/OR ITS MEMBERS! Consider yourself fortunate if you are given a second chance to continue as a [da] member with a reduction in rank or other privelages.

-Dishonesty On Your Application To Join Team DA

There is no excuse for lying or being dishonest in the application process. We recruit not only on behalf of your potential and in game skills but also on behalf of fellow members trust in [da] leadership. Dishonesty or “dancing around the truth” about your age will result in immediate expulsion from the clan. Your age is a critical factor in the recruiting process. Other dishonest acts during the process will be grounds for termination or other disciplinary action. The Council Echelon will carry the burden of responding to dishonesty by new recruits. Upper Echelons may step in to resolve issues at hand. If it is brought to the attention of the Command Echelon that a recruit is underage…Command, by policy, will give the order for Council to execute termination of the players membership within the clan. We are a clan of ethics and hold it in high regards. WE DO NOT WANT LIARS ON OUR TEAM!

-In Game Ethics

All members are required to set a good example when you play. If you are new to the clan then you will be corrected as you go. The higher your rank then the more fierce the repercussions will be for being a dumb ass and making Team [da] look bad! Play smart, play fair, and play to win. Just be mature and Ethics wont be an issue.

-Former Member Policy

Players who permanently leave the clan may rejoin on a case-by-case basis. They will be required to start over within the rank structure. If they quit a second time, they will be permanently banned from Team Deadly Assassins. Command must have Council and Echelon support to readmit prior members.

-New Policy

New policy created by the Command Echelon generally must be reviewed and approved by fellow Command Echelon members and reviewed by upper Council Echelon members for discrepancies and support. Some policy may not be open for debate and will be approved strictly by Command based off of the current rank structure in place. If you see problems in our policy then please take the time to inform Council and/or Command for resolution. We spend a great deal of time on administrative efforts and desire to provide sound policy suiting our vision as we grow and to support fairness for all members.

-Grand fathering

Team da is always improving and growing. As a standard policy…if we create new rules that would affect a member that already carries the [da] tag then this member will simply be grand fathered into the new policy. What this means, for example, is if our age limit is increased then a player who is already a full member but is below that age…he will not be held accountable to the new policy/rule. This keeps our members safe from new policy that could be used to banish or exile members who have qualified within the window of time that they applied. We are very serious about taking care of our members who have already qualified by past standards.

-Awareness

ALL MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO READ OUR TOTAL DOCUMENTATION PRIOR TO ADMITTANCE INTO THE CLAN. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW OR HAVE ACCESS TO OUR POLICY THEN YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE IF YOU WEAR THE [da] TAG. ACCESS TO OUR POLICY IS GIVEN BY LEADERSHIP UPON ADMITTANCE AS A FULL MEMBER.
